Triceratops Colossal Fossil: Triceratops Cliff
Opens November 15

Take your class to meet Cliff -- a 65-million-year-old, 25-foot, two-ton Triceratops -- one of only four nearly complete Triceratops on public display. The accompanying exhibit allows student to imagine Cliff's life and death as they examine evidence found from this extraordinary fossil, including large scars on its massive, three-horned skull.

Science of Fear Field Trip
Opening October 12

Goose Bumps! The Science of Fear delivers excitement and fun (along with a few shivers) and provides an experiential and holistic view of fear science. Students can test their own reactions to the often-dreaded emotion in the "Fear Lab."

Mythic Creatures Mythical Field Trip
Opening October 26
Maps to social studies and language arts standards!

Journey around the world to explore the ways people have been inspired by nature through the centuries in the new exhibit Mythic Creatures: Dragons, Unicorns, & Mermaids. Observe paintings, life-sized models, cultural objects, and much more.

Target is offering 5,000 field trip grants of up to $800 each - triple the amount offered last year. Apply online by November 1 for field trips scheduled between February 2009 and the end of the school year.
