Health Awareness Thursdays
Thursdays in November
10:00 a.m.

Join guest scientists to learn about some of today’s most critical human health issues.

November 5: Dr. Aaron Baggish from Massachusetts General Hospital discusses the impact of exercise on our hearts.

November 12
: Dr. Lisa Freeman from Tufts University describes how studying obesity in pets helps us learn more about the condition in humans.

November 19
: Dr. Anita Loughlin from the Center for Vaccine Research at Boston University busts myths surrounding vaccines.

Teen Activist Overnight
Friday, January 29

At this special overnight, middle and high school students enjoy workshops and drop-in activities that address hunger, poverty, and related science topics with the help of City Year mentors. Activities also include the regular overnight favorites.
